UCHC Encourages Parents, Students and Teachers to Add a COVID-19 Test to Their Back-to-School To-Do List

September 1, 2020

Students and teachers are heading back to school. New York City Mayor, Bill de Blasio, announced the official public school start date will be September 21, 2020.

Over the last six months, COVID-19 has disproportionately affected members of the Bronx community. UCHC continues in its mission to support the health of Bronxites, and during the back to school season, is encouraging students, parents and teachers to get a COVID-19 test before returning to their designated school buildings.

UCHC urges the Bronx to continue maintaining safety protocols, such social distancing, wearing a mask or face covering, washing your hands for at least 20 seconds, and staying home when you are unwell. In addition to these measures, UCHC is adding one more to the list, getting a COVID-19 test.

Call today to schedule an appointment for a COVID-19 test.  Students, NYC teachers, educators, DOE staff and parents are all welcome!
