Doing our part!

Our community has been through a lot over these past few years, but thankfully we have resumed our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, this remains the same: UCHC’s mission to serve you and our commitment to your health and safety.

Since the start of the Coronavirus pandemic, we have implemented many new procedures. We made these changes to help protect you and our staff.

When you arrive for your next appointment or prior to your scheduled appointment, you will notice that:

• We have resumed our regular operating schedule with social distancing efforts in place to optimize staff and patient safety and comfort. (look for floor markers throughout our sites).
• We ask that patients come alone to their appointment/s unless being sedated or require a companion, for example, minors or special needs, etc.
• Your temperature will be checked upon entering any one of our locations.
• Masks are required at all times.
• We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter UCHC. You will also find hand sanitizer stations throughout our health centers for you to use freely and as needed.
• Walk-in appointments are in place for those in need of immediate care.
• Rapid Care Services have been extended and is OPEN ALL-DAY and on weekends.

And finally, please arrive to your appointment on time. This will help us to create a safer environment for everyone to minimize wait time and overcrowding; allowing us to provide the best quality health care that you and your family deserve!
