Union Community Health Center (UCHC) prides itself on a commitment to providing access to quality medical and dental care for all, regardless of ability to pay. UCHC accepts numerous types of government and commercial insurance plans. Anyone without insurance is encouraged to meet with a financial counselor on-site to help with applying for insurance coverage. Financial counselors can also help anyone, with or without insurance, to determine eligibility for participating in a self-pay sliding fee scale, based on family size and income.

No one is denied care because of an inability to pay. Union Community Health Center offers a sliding fee discount program for both insured and uninsured patients based on an individual's income and family size.

Union Community Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center, receives HHS funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.
